Hammer Crushers
Industrial hammer crushers for primary and secondary size reduction of minerals. Interchangeable screens and quick-change hammers for minimal downtime in 5–50 TPH processing lines.
Hammer Crushers
High-speed impact crushing for limestone, clay, coal, and mineral ores. A rotating shaft with swinging hammers strikes material against breaker plates and forces it through a sizing screen. Single-stage reduction ratios of 10:1 to 20:1.
Single Rotor — Compact design for moderate throughput. Material enters from one side, impacts hammers, and passes through the screen below. Standard for 5–20 TPH mineral processing.
Double Rotor — Two counter-rotating shafts for higher capacity and finer product. Material is crushed between opposing hammer sets — preferred for 20–50 TPH lines requiring tighter product size distribution.
Hammer & Screen Design
Hammers are the primary wear component. Manganese steel hammers for general duty, chrome-alloy for abrasive minerals. Reversible hammer designs double service life by flipping worn hammers before replacement.
Screen cassettes slide out from the side for quick replacement without disassembling the crusher. Screen hole diameter controls product size — multiple cassettes kept on hand allow rapid changeover between product grades.
Rotor Balancing
Rotor balance is critical for bearing life and frame integrity. All rotors are dynamically balanced before installation. After hammer replacement, matching hammer weights across the rotor prevents vibration — weight variance kept within 50g per hammer set.
Feed & Discharge
Gravity feed chute with adjustable gate controls material flow rate. Chute liner plates (AR400 steel) protect against impact wear. Discharge via gravity through the sizing screen to belt conveyor or screw conveyor below.
Optional magnetic separator at the feed inlet removes tramp metal that would damage hammers and screens.
Maintenance
- Hammer inspection and rotation every 200–500 operating hours (material dependent)
- Screen condition check weekly, replacement as needed
- Bearing re-greasing per manufacturer schedule
- Rotor balance verification after each hammer change
- Breaker plate adjustment as wear progresses
