Rotary Kilns
Direct and indirect fired rotary kilns for calcination, drying and thermal processing up to 1200°C. Refractory-lined shells with precision-balanced rotating drums for continuous 24/7 operation.
Rotary Kilns
Rotating drum furnaces for calcination, drying, and material transformation. Engineered for continuous operation in cement, chemical, and mineral processing plants.
Direct Fired — Fuel burner inside drum. Maximum heat transfer rate, suited for high-throughput calcination where material can tolerate direct flame contact.
Indirect Fired — External shell heating. Protects sensitive materials from combustion gases — required for pharmaceutical-grade oxides and specialty chemicals.
Design & Construction
Shell fabricated from rolled mild steel plate, stress-relieved and precision-machined for concentricity. Tyres (riding rings) are shrink-fitted onto the shell and ride on support rollers aligned to within 0.5mm TIR.
Refractory lining is application-specific: dense alumina bricks for high-temperature calcination, castable refractory for moderate duty, or ceramic fiber blanket for rapid thermal cycling.
Seals at feed and discharge ends prevent air ingress and product loss. Spring-loaded graphite seals for high-temperature service, labyrinth seals for moderate duty.
Commissioning & Installation
